Here's a quick look at your Friday forecast.

High temps will be in the 40s across most of Minnesota this Friday, with some 30s in the far north:

It'll be breezy, so it will feel a bit cooler than the air temp.

Rain is expected to spread into far southern Minnesota this morning then expand to cover most of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin as we go through the afternoon. Rain continues this evening in the east.

The best chance of rain in the Twin Cities metro area is expected to be from around mid-afternoon into this evening, but we could see a brief shower in the early afternoon.

The rain could mix with snow over northeastern Minnesota this evening, then change to all snow in that area overnight.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern this Friday and Friday evening:

The color chart to the right of the loop refers to the strength of the signal that returns to the radar, not to the amount of rain and snow.
