Heat advisory this afternoon for Hennepin and Ramsey counties; summery all weekend

It’ll feel more like July than September across much of Minnesota this weekend.

Saturday afternoon highs are expected to reach the upper 80s to lower 90s in about the southern half of Minnesota:

Dew points will rise into the lower 70s in the warmest areas this afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for this afternoon that covers Hennepin and Ramsey counties:

Very warm high temps are also expected on Sunday:

Dew points are expected to be slightly lower on Sunday, mainly in the 60s.
