A few very scattered showers and thunderstorms could redevelop over Minnesota this morning, then there will be a good chance of some areas of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and early this evening.

The Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service shows a slight risk of severe weather for much of Minnesota this Sunday and Sunday night:

Enhanced risk means that numerous severe thunderstorms are possible, slight risk indicates that scattered severe thunderstorms are possible:

Highs in the 80s are expected in much of southern and central Minnesota this Sunday afternoon:

Twin Cities metro area highs are expected to be in the low to mid 70s Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by upper 70s Thursday and 80 on Friday. Our average high temp is 79 degrees in the Twin Cities metro area this time of year.
