Windy, with snow ending this morning; bright and cold on Sunday
Snow lingered over parts of eastern Minnesota early Saturday morning, but it will move off to the east in the next few hours.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern this morning:

Winter storm warnings due to the snow, blowing snow and difficult travel conditions continue until 10 a.m. over parts of northeastern Minnesota, much of central Minnesota and in Anoka and Washington counties of the Twin Cities metro area:

There is a wind advisory for much of southern Minnesota until 1 p.m. for winds around 30 mph and gusts of 40 to 45 mph.
Duluth is included in a winter storm warning until 10 a.m., with a winter weather advisory along the north shore of Lake Superior:
Snow amounts
Some impressive snow amounts have already come in, and additional reports are expected as we go through the morning.
There are snow reports of 11 inches in Bruno, 8 inches in Baxter, 6 in Cambridge and 7 in Foley.
In the Twin Cities metro area, 3 inches was the report from Maple Grove. As of 1 a.m., Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport had 1.8 inches, but that total will be updated.
I measured 2 inches in St. Paul as of 6 a.m., but it is still snowing lightly.
