SKYWARN training

If you're interested in becoming a trained severe weather spotter the Twin Cities and other local National Weather Service offices offer SKYWARN spotter training at several locations each spring. Today it's Balsam Lake, Wis.

Boston nor'easter

Boston is getting hammered today by the third nor'easter in just two weeks. The core of heavy snow bands with snowfall rates at or above 1 inch per hour pushed in this morning.

Many areas around Boston will pick up an incredible 1 to 2 feet of snow today.

High winds bring more power outages. Coastal storm surge brings flooding.
