Cloud/sun mix and breezy today; wintry mix overnight and Monday
Our remaining Twin Cities metro area snow cover will shrink a bit today.
The complete disappearance of all of our snow, especially those sneaky snow piles on north-facing slopes, will have to wait for much warmer temps.
Temperature trends
High temperatures are expected to be in the 30s over most of western and northern Minnesota Sunday afternoon, with some low and mid 40s in the Twin Cities metro area and southeastern Minnesota.

Monday highs will be in the 30s in most areas, but we could climb slightly above 40 in the metro area and points to the southeast:
Twin Cities metro area highs are expected to reach the mid 40s Tuesday, upper 40s Wednesday, mid 40s on Thursday and lower 40s Friday.
Wintry mix Sunday night and Monday
Parts of northwestern Minnesota could see some wet snow and rain this Sunday afternoon. In the far northwest, a couple of inches of snow could accumulate.
A mix of rain and snow and light freezing rain is expected to spread over most of Minnesota Sunday night and continue on Monday.

The Twin Cities metro area and southern Minnesota will probably see a wintry mix overnight Sunday night and Monday morning, then mainly rain Monday afternoon.
Central and northern Minnesota could see the wintry mix turn to mostly snow for awhile, with a couple of inches of snow accumulation:

The sharp edge of Minnesota's latest snowstorm

Of course, clouds are the moving areas on the loop and the snow cover is stationary.
On very warm days, we can often see the edge of the snow cover recede.
Snowy Boston
A series of nor'easters have hit Boston this month, dropping 23.2 inches of snow on Boston's Logan Airport:
They've measured 58.5 inches of snow in this 2017-2018 snow season in Boston, which is about a foot and a half more snow than normal.
Our official Twin Cities season snowfall of 48.5 inches (at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport) is 2 inches below our average total to this point in our season:
Our 5.1 inches of snow this month is about a foot and a half lower than the March snow tally in Boston!
