The snow blitz is over.
Snowfall totals across Minnesota over the past week are impressive. The Twin Cities picked up 11.6 inches in the past seven days. Up in northern Minnesota, some seven-day snowfall totals reached 2 feet.

Sunday's snow cover is likely the highest of the winter season. Check out some of these snow depth readings around Minnesota. A few spots up north have almost 3 feet of snow on the ground!

The melt is on this week. Daytime temperatures will push 40 in much of Minnesota this week. Nights will be below freezing. That means icy patches from daily snow melt. Take it easy out there driving and walking.
This week looks fairly dry for the Twin Cities. Another snow system aims for southeast Minnesota Wednesday night into Thursday.
