Warmer temps Sunday and Monday; no storms in sight
Our average monthly temperature is running 2.3 degrees cooler than normal this November in the Twin Cities metro area.
Mild temps over the next few days will nudge our average monthly temp closer to normal.
Last November was 10.4 degrees warmer than normal in the Twin Cities, making it the second warmest November in Twin Cities weather records, which date back to 1872.

Our Sunday highs are expected to range from the 50s in southwestern and south-central Minnesota to the 30s in about the northern third of Minnesota.
The Twin Cities metro area could top out in the upper 40s.
Monday will be the warmest day of the coming week in most of Minnesota.
Highs will range from the 60s southwest to the upper 30s in the far northeast:
Twin Cities metro area highs could reach the upper 50s on Monday.
Metro area highs are expected to be around 47 Tuesday and Wednesday, then around 40 Thursday and Friday.
The 6 to 10 day outlook from the NWS Climate Prediction Center shows a tendency for above normal temperatures in Minnesota for the period from December 1 through December 5:
Our lack of snow cover in southern and central Minnesota makes it easier to reach warmer than normal temps.
No storms in sight
Snow lovers will have to be patient.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Global Forecast System model isn't showing any major snow storms over the next 7 days:
A few small areas of rain/snow showers could clip far northern Minnesota Monday night and Wednesday night.

Harbor cam
This was the pleasant Duluth harbor cam view early Sunday morning:
I don't see any snow on the grass outside the Maritime Visitor Center.
The Duluth airport has recorded 10.5 inches of snow this November, but reported a snow depth of only one inch Saturday morning.
Minnesota snow depth
Parts of northeastern Minnesota still had four or more inches of snow depth on November 22, according to the Minnesota State Climatology Office and the DNR:
