Lots of 60s, but warmer west; snow season recap

Sometimes it's OK to be average.

Our average high temperature is 67 degrees this time of year in the Twin Cities.

High temps won't drift too far from average over the next few days.

Rain chance returns

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Global Forecast System model shows the potential for showers over southwestern Minnesota Monday afternoon.

That chance of showers spreads to the remainder of Minnesota Monday night and Tuesday:

Snow season tally

Let's assume that the 2016-2017 snow season is over for most of us.

I imagine that some people are thinking "it better be over!".

The official 2016-2017 snow season total at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was 32.0 inches, which is 22.4 inches below normal.

St. Cloud was 13.8 inches below normal this snow season.

Duluth was 18.9 inches below normal.

International Falls was one-half of an inch below normal.

Rochester was six-tenths of an inch above normal.
