Nice weekend

Light winds tonight could allow the official Twin Cities temperature to hit 32 degrees or colder on Saturday morning.

We are overdue,  since it has stayed above 32 degrees at Minneapolis -St. Paul International Airport for 212 consecutive days!

A high pressure system to our southeast will bring us plenty of sunshine tomorrow:

Sundays highs will be in the 50s in most spots, with a few areas in southwestern Minnesota topping 60:

Above normal temperatures should linger through at least next week.

November clouds

We've enjoyed a lot of sunny days this November.

With all the sun-splashed days, it's hard to believe that November is typically our cloudiest month of the year in the Twin Cities.

On average, we only have 39% of possible sunshine in November:

December is typically our second cloudiest month of the year in the Twin Cities, and July is our sunniest month.

I hope that you are enjoying our bonus sunshine!
