Wintry weather has finally arrived for real. Cold breezes and occasional snow is in the air. It's not a blockbuster start to winter, but the descending cold will get you attention in the next few days.
Thursday's light snow event was enough to grease up area roadways. Here's a look at just one of the many metro incidents that occurred on slick roads Thursday afternoon, via the Minnesota Department of Transportation's traffic cams.

Things still look favorable in the Upper Midwest for Thanksgiving week travel. Temps may run a few degrees below average overall, but the good weather news is I still don't see any travel trouble on the horizon.
