Minnesota picked to host PWHL draft in June

Minnesota will host the Professional Women's Hockey League draft for 2024 in June. The league announced Saturday that the six teams will make 42 selections in the “State of Hockey.”

Minnesota teen honored by Girl Scouts of America after saving the lives of her mother and grandmother

Fifteen-year-old senior Girl Scout Illona Delaney, a citizen of Red Lake Nation, was honored with the Bronze Cross for risking her own life to save her grandmother and mother from drowning during a family boating trip last summer. She is the first Indigenous Girl Scout to achieve the honor.

The submission process has ended for the Karin Larson YourClassical Prize. Thank you to all the aspiring amateur musicians across Minnesota who submitted an entry. One performer could win $20,000! Entries are now being judged, and up to five finalists will be selected. Public voting for the winner will happen May 15-31.
