ND shoplifter makes amends 37 years later

Clothing stores in Fargo received an envelope with five $20 bills
and a letter that read, "Thirty-seven years ago I took a sweater
from the Grand Forks store. Sorry."
Rick Stern, whose family owns the business, tells The Forum
newspaper that the person's effort to make
up for the crime is heartwarming.
