Star Tribune sports columnist Jim Souhan — who recently caused a ruckus when he suggested that University of Minnesota head football coach Jerry Kill step down because of his epilepsy — writes after a seizure kept Kill from attending Saturday’s game against Michigan:
If he can’t find a way to perform his duties, and if his doctors can’t find a way to more effectively help him, I do believe he will eventually walk away.
He’s that kind of guy.
Kill had told the Strib he’d leave his job if his health kept him from performing well.
Saturday’s seizure was the first time that Kill has had to miss an entire game. The Gophers lost 13-42.
