This upcoming webinar on earning college credit while in high school seems appropriate in light of this blog post and discussion.
It’s July 23 at 2 p.m — with a Spanish version at 3 p.m. — and will last half an hour.
Registration information and other details are on the Center for School Change website.
The Center wrote me:
The Webinars will help more families understand how they can save thousands of dollars – even tens of thousands of dollars, by having students take college level courses in high school. … We will share recent research, tools, and updated information on Dual Credit programs in MN. There will also be a panel of experts and community figures and time dedicated for Q&A from participants.
The Center is holding it in conjunction with the Minnesota Department of Education, Chicano Latino Affairs Council and Latino Communications Network.
