The hiring controversies of the UMN nursing dean

-- University of Minnesota dean of nursing Connie Delaney in an e-mail, reported by the Star Tribune, to Julie Jacko, a former Georgia Tech professor whom Delaney helped recruit to Minnesota. Jacko has been indicted on charges of fraud.

Now the paper reports that Delaney hired her brother using U funds, gave one of her former students a faculty job while he was still employed full-time in Iowa, and hired two consultants connected to the organization that raises funds for her school.
