Well-regarded Twin Cities higher-education marketing executive John Lawlor of The Lawlor Group has come up with five trends to watch in 2012:

- Consumers are demanding results.
- Social media is normalizing transparency.
- Competition is breeding commodification.
(He’s rolling out one a day, so I assume the fifth is coming out tomorrow.)
