Blogging today from Inver Hills Community College

I'm off this morning to Inver Grove Heights to spend the day at Inver Hills Community College.

It's my third community college, and so far may be the one with the most campus life -- even as it sits a little isolated from the rest of the community. (It's right near the intersection of Minnesota 55 and U.S. 52).

Most exciting is today's Life Raft Debate, in which some instructors -- a mathematician, biologist, psychologist, English scholar and criminal justice officer -- must each convince an audience why his or her field is best equipped to rebuild society after a nuclear war.

This campus sounds like it has some spunk.
