Kaler on the search for a new provost
Tom Sullivan, as you may remember, is on his way out.
"Our search for a new Provost is moving along quickly. We have a robust and impressive pool of candidates that we are bringing to campus over the next two weeks.
As you all know, in these searches it can be terribly difficult to balance our commitment to a transparent and open process with the candidates’ desires to remain confidential for as long as possible. It was a challenge when you all hired me, and it is a challenge in this search. I am very pleased with the diversity of our pool of candidates and hopeful they all continue through the public phase."
