How the University of Minnesota kind of got into the movies, but not really
In case you haven't seen it already, here's the trailer to "Contagion," the star-studded bio-disaster movie set partly in the Twin Cities and University of Minnesota -- but which wasn't even filmed here, as I posted in December.
Here's a Pioneer Press article on the movie, and it contains a photo of the old Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Illinois, that has been made up to look like Fairview. Well, kind of. It's got a sign or two.
