Here’s Pat Meacham, a 2008 Bemidji State social studies education grad from Detroit lakes, who had to live with his relatives during school to save money.
There’s not much detail on that point, but he’s facing a debt load of $30,000. He’s in grad school, but does substitute teaching at a South St. Paul public school and has done some unpaid internships.
Was it worth it? He only says:
Time will tell.
Not a particularly inspiring picture for high school students.
