MPR’s PoliGraph says that Gov. Mark Dayton’s statement on higher ed funding in his State of the State address yesterday —
“Tuition in our state’s two-year public colleges has risen to the third-highest in the nation; tuitions in our four-year universities are among the top-ten highest.”
— is misleading.
PoliGraph says Dayton was looking at averages when he made that statement — and should have said so. Individual schools, it says, don’t fit his rankings.
