How students can earn MN college credit

I just got this from Andrew Allen Anda, a professor in the computer science department at St. Cloud State University, who was listening in to the Midmorning discussion on college applications and essays:

Regarding your caller who’s child finished HS requirements 1 year early, there’s the PSEO program where she can take college credits but still be socially in high school.

This is new to me. At first glance, it looks a little like a Minnesota version of the Advanced Placement program. Something to check out further.
