Where we go from here in U-Minnesota president search

Now that the University of Minnesota regents have chosen Stony Brook University Provost Eric Kaler as its only finalist in the presidential search, the public will have two main chances to participate:

(I'll have to double check the times, though.)

Public forum: Wednesday, Nov. 17th from 4 p.m to 5:15 p.m. at the Coffman Memorial Union Theater at the U.

Public interview: Thursday, Nov. 18th from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the board room of the 6th floor of McNamara Alumni Center at the U.

As a recap, they had four finalists. Regents said two dropped out because they didn't want to be part of a public pool of candidates. They then forwarded only one name -- Kaler's -- for consideration.
