Who knew there was a pent-up demand for thumb-wrestling in Winona?
River City Wrestling and Island City Brewing Company teamed up for the first annual thumb wrestling championship in the city on Saturday, known as the Thumbs Up Throw Down.
People showed up. Some dressed in wrestling gear, their hands and thumbs shoved through miniature wrestling rings.
There was a kid’s division.
But at the end of the day, the championship match featured professional Minnesota wrestler Chris Steel
