Saul Gomez is a San Francisco 49ers fan. Lisete Gomez is a Los Angeles Chargers rooter. So they announced that whichever team won Sunday’s game, that’s how their kid would be raised.
New parents are so cute, what with their thinking their child will do what parents want them to do and all.
“We wanted to do something different to announce that we would be having a baby boy,” Saul told ESPN on Sunday night. “So we figured with me being a lifelong 49ers fan and her being a lifelong Chargers fan, that this would be the perfect way to do it.”
The Chargers won.
“I’m happy for her,” Saul Gomez said. “She’s kind of a sore loser, so I was worried about winning.”
If they were fit to be parents, they’d raise their kid as a baseball fan.
