A White House Halloween

We cop to feeling some hope for normalcy in the country whenever we see a president of the United Stand outside the White House while 4,000 Washington DC school kids file by to get candy from him. That some dressed like Scooby Doo, only makes us swell with pride.

Your move, Putin

  • Will

Putin would have handed that candy out on a horse while shirtless…then he would exit from the event on some kind of hovercraft into the horizon. I do wonder what showman in chief might do when he’s president this time next year…

    • Maybe grope a 13 year old?

    • Jerry

      Trump doesn’t give, he takes.

He will mandate slooty costumes for all the females!

    • rallysocks

Great…now I have an image of Trump rating all the trick or treaters while pretending to put a piece of candy in their bag, but actually taking two pieces out.

Forcing them to compete in a competition where they work for him, for free, and the winner gets a job that pays well enough that they can buy their own candy…

The whole thing is televised and aired in prime time on the Trump TV network that will be created regardless of if he wins or loses the election.

        Hunger Games?

  • Kurt O

Best costume I saw this year was a girl wearing a plain white t-shirt that said “Error 404: Costume not found”

Next year I think I might dress up as the “Blue Screen of Death”

We had a Dragon ballerina. Because what dragon isn’t improved by adding a tootoo?

      • Kurt O

A friend’s daughter went as a zebra dragon (a zebra costume with a dragon hat and cape).

It seemed like there were fewer store bought costumes, other than superheroes. One little boy was dressed as Ironman and he had Capt America’s shield. I’d like to hear the story on how he got it. Maybe they’ll make it into a movie.

        • jon

I’m probably not all the way caught up on the movies, but I think they did make a movie about it already….

That was the best Prince tribute I have seen yet.
