Nobody was hurt when a SpaceX rocket exploded at Cape Canaveral today, so we are officially placing the video in our “when disasters are beautiful” category.
All the fire and fury wasn’t so pretty to Facebook, however. It had hoped to use the satellite to beam social networks to Africa.
The blast started near an upper-stage oxygen tank while propellant for the launch was being loaded, according to SpaceX.
