There aren’t that many moments when you hear someone interviewed on the radio, and you feel a tear forming from the pride of it all.
Friday evening’s All Things Considered interview with Khizr Khan was one such moment.
Mr. Khan has probably told his story a hundred times since his appearance at political convention a week ago, but what was gripping in Kelly McEvers’ interview was that he still loses his composure when he talks about the rights afforded in the U.S. Constitution.
We should all be so proud of the opportunities we’ve been afforded.
