Video: Pokemon player hits police car

Pro tip for Pokemon players:

When playing Pokemon Go, don’t drive your car into a police cruiser.

The incident happened early Monday morning in Baltimore.

“That’s what I get for playing this dumb *** game,” the driver reportedly said.

The quote should have been: “That’s what I get for being a dumb***.” If it hadn’t been Pokemon Go, it would have been something else.

This type of thing doesn’t happen when you work in a cube.

I’m a bit surprised that Niantic hasn’t built in more safeguards to prevent drive-by

playing. Huge problem in Ingress, the base of Pokemon Go. They did have a level of intelligence built in to prevent you from traveling at over 35 mph while playing Ingress, but I’m suprised they didn’t step that up.

I mean, just in general, the relevant advice is to not ever drive your car into a police car. Or any car. Or a wall. Or a biker. Or anything, really. Bugs are fine. You can hit bugs. Avoid butterflies if possible.

    I think that covers it.

    • Hail. Don’t drive into hail. Also the big hole on Highway 63 after the barricades in Grand View, Wis. Don’t do that.

YES. Sinkholes should be avoided at all costs.

Tornadoes. Don’t drive into those, either.

If I learned one thing from twister is that it’s not the tornado you need to worry about, it’s the cows.

I wonder what insurance actuaries are thinking about all this.
