The Minnesota State Patrol released a video this afternoon that defies the axiom of “seeing is believing.”
A truckdriver, 67–year–old James Saatela, ignores the warning lights, ignores the train whistle, and — perhaps more incredible — ignores the state trooper who had just finished a commercial inspection with the trucker, and goes through the stop sign and into the path of a train in Mountain Iron.
The Patrol says it happened last month. Saatela suffered only minor injuries.
