Texas prof flunks entire class. School replaces him

Calling his entire class “a disgrace,” a Texas A&M Galveston professor has flunked his entire class.

Irwin Horwitz says he reached “the breaking point” last week after what he calls a semester of disrespect, backstabbing, lying, and cheating, Houston TV station KPRC reported.

Horwitz, who taught a strategic management class, said the students proved to be incompetent and lack the maturity level to enter the workforce.

A university official says a department head will take over the class and the grades won’t stick.

“disrespect, backstabbing, lying, and cheating,[…] incompetent and lack the maturity level to enter the workforce.”

Sounds like management material to me.

That was my first reaction, too. I did wonder if maybe he was failing them because they were leaving too much blatant evidence behind, which would be justified. After all, business practices are only OK if you can deny them in court.
