Lynda Asip of Salinas, California bought a 1967 Ford Mustang in 1986 — when she was 17 — for $800. It was stolen shortly thereafter, never to be seen again. And why would it? A ’67 Mustang, restored properly, can fetch about $50,000.
She even had custom plates for it — “LYNDA67.”
This week, she got it back.
Bob Collins retired from Minnesota Public Radio in 2019 after 12 years of writing NewsCut and pointing out to complainants that posts weren’t news stories.
