Search on for ‘selfie’ taker during running of bulls

This unidentified man is on the lam. He’s wanted by the police in Pamplona, Spain.

A participant runs in front of Jandilla’s bulls as he takes a “selfie” (photograph of himself) during the fifth bull-run of the San Fermin Festival in Pamplona, northern Spain, on July 11. Spanish authorities are cracking down on dare devils who shoot camera footage even as they risk their lives by running with half-tonne fighting bulls at the annual San Fermin festival. His crime? He took a selfie while being chased by bulls today.

Because that’s the part of today’s activities that’s just crazy, you know.

The man taking the selfie violated new regulations, designed to crack down on dangerous behavior during the festival, The Guardian reports.

    Nature weeding out the stupid.

It just seems like a case where the police need not intervene. The bulls will take care of enforcement.

This is clearly a case of the nanny state taking away individual freedoms.

I did the run a few years ago, and they were extremely harsh about the no camera/phone rule then, I imagine it’s only gotten worse. The rule is actually more about protecting everyone else than protecting the picture taker.
