‘Drones’ provide new tool for tornado storm chasers

The world isn’t going to wait for the Federal Aviation Administration to come up with rules governing the use of drones, or — more accurately — quad copters.

There are too many important uses for them and too many people with access to them for them to be controlled by the bureaucracy, no matter how well intentioned the regulatory process.

Yesterday afternoon’s Arkansas tornado provides but one example.
