Merciful heavens, the things some public radio stations have to do to get people to become members!
Good idea or bad? WNYC in New York is using a “the next round’s on you” theme in its current pledge drive. Get it? To drive home the point, public radio stars pretend — we think they’re pretending — to be drunk.
I’m fairly speechless here.
