The owner of a restaurant in Texas is selling out, but not for the usual reasons.
A 19-year-old employee is sick and has a tumor. Her bills are piling up and she can’t even afford to find out if the tumor is malignant or benign, KHOU TV reports.
“I just can’t be standing by and doing nothing,” restaurant owner Michael De Beyer said. “I have to try something because it’s not right.”
He’s actually been trying to sell the restaurant for a few years, but says he’s lowering the price to move it faster.
