Lake Superior snow from space

If you’re not a big fan of snow, you probably don’t want to live downwind of Lake Superior. Sorry, Wisconsin.

The Space Science And Engineering Center at the University of Wisconsin – Madison has released this satellite image showing “lake effect” snow on Sunday, generated by the cold air blowing over from the lake.
