The Coalition Drum Shop posts on its YouTube page that an “older” woman stopped into its La Crosse, Wis., store the other day and showed the kids how it’s done.
“We have no idea where this lady came from, what her name is, or where she went but she rocked our faces off!” according to store manager Dustin Hackworth.
“We don’t know anything about her, except that her name is Mary. She comes in, plays ‘Wipe Out’ for about 10 minutes, and leaves,” he tells the La Crosse Tribune. “She’s awesome.”
We detect a fair amount of Moody Blues’ “I’m Just A Singer in a Rock ‘n Roll Band” influence.
