Twin Cities from the ISS

We got an image of the Twin Cities from the International Space Station a couple of weeks ago, but not from the station’s commander, Chris Hadfield, who seems intent on tweeting every spot of land on earth before his mission is up.

Today, we got his version of us.

What’s fascinating is how clearly the blue lights of the “new” I-35W bridge show up when viewed from space. (Click images for a larger view)

That just means that from space, you can’t tell how vastly different they are from one another.
