A new ballpark can cover up the lack of fan interest in a bad ballclub for about three years.
Judging from today’s images being posted to Twitter from Target Field, time’s up.
It was 44 degrees at gametime, which accounts for part of the problem. On the other hand, it’s not the first time it’s been 44 degrees at Target Field for a weekday game. In April 2011, there were several day games of 40 degrees. All drew at least 38,000 fans.
