A first first kiss

It’s a tradition on some Navy ships that when a ship returns to port, one sailor gets the honor of being the first person to kiss a waiting family member or friend.

This week, the Virginia Pilot newspaper reports, the honor went to a lesbian for the first time.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Marissa Gaeta bought 50 tickets in the raffle. Her girlfriend of two years, Petty Officer 3rd Class Citlalic Snell, was waiting when she crossed the brow, the paper said.
