Free cellphone helps homeless man find daughter

Another feel-good story about a homeless man is gaining some steam. Maybe this one will work out better than the Ted Williams saga.

Daniel Morales tweeted that he was looking for his daughter, whom he hadn’t seen in about 11 years. He found her. She and her two kids are living in a shelter for victims of domestic violence in New York.

Rivera got the phone he used to make his Tweet from a program to provide cellphones to homeless people. Four of them are tweeting what it’s like to be homeless.
