Index minimum wage to congressional salary.

Current base wage for congress: 174000

Annual base wage minimum: 15080

about 8.7%

If congress increases their wage minimum wage would increase to 8.7% of the new congressional wage.

So, if mimimum wages go up EVERYONE will know that congress got another wage.

Minimum wage needs to be enough to support a person decently. We currently have people working full-time who live in homeless shelters because they can’t pay market-rate rent!!! If an employer wants someone to work, then they need to pay enough for that person to live decently on.
