One week down
Well, we survived the first week of The Daily Circuit. Technically, it wasn't a full week, but emotionally it felt like five weeks. I'm exhausted. But I'm really proud of what we did. We covered a lot of important topics (politics,religion, education, health, science), spoke with a lot of terrific guests (Robert Kagan, Krista Tippett, Brian Cox, Calvin Trillin) and did it all while working in a format that was new and untested. We even survived a few guests who weren't where they were supposed to be at the appointed time. And no one in the audience knew any different. It's the magic of radio!
I hope our listeners enjoyed what they heard. I know the new format won't please everyone, but they should know that The Daily Circuit team is working very hard to bring them timely, interesting, and engaging conversations every single day.
