Minneapolis, St. Paul end emergency parking restrictions Thursday
Motorists will be able to park on both sides of surface streets in St. Paul and Minneapolis starting tomorrow, when the cities lift emergency parking restrictions put in place earlier this month because of excessive snow.
There are some exceptions, however. In St. Paul:
Despite the ban being lifted, however, some streets remain too narrow to allow for parking on both sides. Those streets will continue to have limited parking and will be posted with temporary “no parking” signs which should be followed. Vehicles parked in no parking zones could be ticketed and towed.

It is still possible to have additional Snow Emergencies. Drivers should be mindful of the normal Snow Emergency rules and procedures and check the City’s 348-SNOW hotline, the Web, or the many other Snow Emergency notification tools if we receive more snowfall.
