Twin Cities chef Sara Johannes is making her debut on Bravo's "Top Chef" tonight.

She's the first Twin Cities resident to appear on the cooking competition, although other contestants have had Minnesota connections, as the Pioneer Press pointed out in August.

Johannes is the executive chef at Shoyu at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Bravo announced in August that  Johannes had been chosen as one of 18 contestants on the top-rated show.
