School shopping in St. Paul or Mpls?
The St. Paul and Minneapolis school districts are holding fairs Saturday to give families a chance to learn about the various elementary, middle and secondary school options.

The Minneapolis School Fair Showcase has new partners and a new location this year. For the first time, parents will get to hear about neighborhood and charter school options at the same fair. Previously they held separate events. The fair takes place at the Minneapolis Convention Center from 9a to 2p. Details about shuttles and child care are available on the district's web site.

St. Paul also is holding its annual School Choice Fair. Many private, charter and parochial schools are participating. St. Paul's fair takes place at RiverCentre in downtown St. Paul from 9:30a to 2p Saturday. Details on St. Paul schools' shuttles here.
