1. A proposal to allow the state to lease space in a shuttered private prison in Appleton led opponents of the idea to disrupt a House committee hearing Tuesday. The committee approved the bill anyway with all Republicans voting in favor and all Democrats voting against. Opponents say the state should not help a private company that profits off people being incarcerated. (MPR News)
2. In Minnesota to raise money for his presidential campaign, Ohio Gov. John Kasich criticized both his GOP rivals and President Obama. (Pioneer Press)
3. Some states are talking about possibly banning fantasy sports games because they're too akin to gambling. But one Minnesota lawmaker wants to make it clear in state law that fantasy sports should be allowed here. (AP via MPR News)
4. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump won in Arizona yesterday. Bernie Sanders won caucuses in Idaho and Utah, while Ted Cruz picked up all the Republican delegates in Utah. John Kasich didn't win any delegates in yesterday's voting. (New York Times)
5. Speaking of Ted Cruz, he picked up the endorsement of Jeb Bush, but he is being criticized for calling on law enforcement to “patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods” after the bombings in Brussels. (Washington Post)
