Pawlenty mediates civil matters for Eden Prairie-based Gilbert Mediation. She previously worked as a district court judge in the First Judicial District.

Former GOP Senate candidate Mike McFadden also took his name out of consideration this week.

David Gerson is the only announced Republican candidate in the race. Angie Craig and Mary Lawrence are running as Democrats.
